Bullshyt breh.

The cops said they observed him selling cigarettes but he ain't have shyt on him and there were no cigs in his car.

There's playing the game and then there's this "I'll just let these pigs violate my civil rights" bullshyt too many of you clown ass fuccboys keep spouting in this thread.

Ol' "If you ain't doing nothing wrong you don't need rights" motherfukkers.
Miss me with that garbage.

Watch the video....at 22 seconds....the cops asked him for ID, his response was "I don't have ID on me" or something of that nature...that alone based on observable violation is grounds for an arrest.

If they told him to put his hands behind him and that he was under arrest he should have complied....any resistance in lieu of an arrest is a separate charge. So even if he didn't have the cigarettes, they got him on a resistance charge...:sas1:

And if he had of been arrested and falsely for doing so...the NYPD could have been SUED for a false arrest, especially if a judge agrees that he shouldn't have been arrested

If a cop falsely arrests someone they ALSO open themselves up for a law suit as well in ADDITION to departmental misconduct discipline (i.e. loss of their job, or vacations days.)

You nikkas are still on that fight the power, I'mma throw rocks at the cops BS and it never works out for yall...yall either end up in a coma, crippled, in jail or DEAD anyway.

You resist....they whoop yall asses (LEGALLY)....you bring yo hommies from around the block who "put in work"..... the NYPD brings ESU (Hercules, teams, Swat Teams etc) and still whoop yall asses

Go to court...and let a judge sort it out...if the judge backs your claim...YOU can do tons of damage to them legally PLUS you're still alive to play with your grand kids.

That's how you play the game :sas2:

Person A: If you are approached by cops to cuff you dont resist.

Person B (logical): Agreed. They may be in the wrong but that would not be the appropriate time to fight or combat this issue. Comply and fight in court. *relaxes wrist and stops speaking* :beli:

Person B (emotional, without tact, wherewithal, nor discipline): Nah man! BUT THEY AINT SEE ME DO shyt! It STOPS today. Get your hands off of me, you ARMED, LICENSED, Government AGENT! I'm not going to comply BECAUSE I FEEL that you are IN THE WRONG! *opens Pandora's box*:usure:

statement from a brooklyn councilman, jumaane williams

"No New Yorker should be a victim of police brutality, and NYPD must hold their officers accountable. My prayers for peace and comfort go out to Eric Garner's family and friends after this tragic event. As an elected official who has fought for better police practices, the video of an unarmed man screaming in a chokehold that he can't breathe disgusts me. Selling illegal cigarettes, which has yet to be confirmed, should not mean a death sentence.

"Garner joins a list that every male of more color in New York City knows they are a candidate for and every mother of more color dreads. A list that includes Eleanor Bumpurs, Amadou Diallo, Abner Louima, Ramarley Graham, Anthony Baez and Sean Bell. Our new administration has assured us a better relationship with NYPD and the communities they serve. The opportunity is here. In that vain, I look for swift condemnation and action from NYPD toward justice for Garner and his family, and to show that they will not stand for brutal, unrestrained policing practices that lead to fatalities of unarmed New Yorkers."

Bruh Im not siding with the cops..but Im a logical person...this man is a criminal and he was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

You cant back-talk police and say "it stops" blah blah like thats gonna faze them.

If anything you getting them hyped...they know they mobbed up

Plus they taught to choke the fukk outta dudes of that size...thats the only way to bring them down

This is tragic...but he should have just turned around and put his wrists together like "fukk it"
Then why were choke holds banned by the NYPD in 1993? :sas1:

I'm a woman, bytch. Second, no one said he was a saint, but since when does selling cigs mean you deserve to get jumped and murdered by a bunch of pigs. When it happens to you, I promise we won't be on some "dumb nikka emotional shyt". Don't bother replying back to me, Mr.c00n.

How else you bringin down a 400 lbs beast?

That 400lbs of momentum works against you pretty much immediately with trips and takedowns. Which he could then be quickly cuffed.. Especially if one of the other five cops got his hips below his first, which wouldn't be hard at 400 lbs, if we were doing our jobs and not panicking at his size. Basically the simple things most "cops" "private security" types that are actually worth a shyt are taught.

Chokes are intended as desperation/last ditch. Not first. Especially with numbers on your side.

Can't bring myself to watch that vid between the pics I've seen and hearing he was basically begging off by saying I can't breathe

Yes and NO....
If a cop observes a violation....he can request that you provide an appropriate piece of ID in order to write you a criminal court summons and/or run you for warrants...

So if you get caught peeing in public for example...and a cop sees it...he can request ID for those reasons...

But he can't just run up on you and ask for ID without observing a violation...

This shyt is disgusting. Cops will keep doing this shyt until the people can't hold back anymore and really take them to town, which will lease to worse consequences.
