Considering how long Remake was in some form of production, and that allegedly what made them get serious about it was a few of the key behind the scenes figures having a shared midlife crisis and worrying that they'd be too old to do it later, I wouldn't be surprised if we later found out that at least Remake, Intermission, and Rebirth were at least partially developed in tandem.
