Dre laced him up with some heatrocks

Get Low, Here We Go, The Future are all top-shelf Dre beats from the 2000s era

Stat predated a lot of southern rappers who took the pen seriously. A lot these dudes borrowed his drip.

How so? When Stat was out, T.I. and Ludacris were still huge. T.I. was speaking. You couldn't tell anyone that Wayne wasn't spittin. Andre 3000 was killing remixes and guest spots. Dro was also viewed as lyricist. Chamillionaire as well.

Stat was a good rapper why didn't this drop?

It didn't have buzz. Stat was from Atlanta and back when this album was supposed to drop, Young Dro was a bigger deal than Stat as were several other Atlanta rappers. I mean, Yola Da Great managed to get a buzz without a Dre or an Eminem.
