I'm going to my first horror convention next month and I'd shell out 100 for a pic and autograph from Freddy. I wouldn't pay that for anyone else tho. Kane Hodder will be there but I wouldn't pay that for him, but people do. These people are literally getting 100 bucks every 3 minutes, all day long, for two days to a never ending line of people. shyts crazy

Also the norm for most is probably 35-60. Only the real REAL popular folk are getting anywhere near $100. But damn if you're popular and got lines... you're probably clearing 10k in a fri-sun con.

I kinda know an actor known for one role, which in the grand scheme isn't even that famous, and he still gets flown all over the world for conventions. it's not even a genre type movie either. last time i saw him he had come from a "con" in Colorado and was going to Austria or something in a few weeks. i'm not saying who, and i'm not bragging, just chiming in that if that guy can make money and get wined and dined by these things, actual current stars are definitely getting money hand over fist.
