IMO the 1000 planet thing isnt a selling point. What i like most about games is comparing what different players did working in the same area. I can appreciate what they have created but i would have much more preferred 100 fully fleshed out planets with settlements, cities, etc.... than 1000 when i know im not going to 900 of them.

Hopefully most of those 1000 are just filler with mining materials and skippable junk and there is real meat on the remainder.
It only would make sense for them to send you to specific planets and areas they've been hands on with for the main quest line and some of the more substantial side quests.

:deadrose:
Looking back did any Bethesda game launch at 60fps? I feel this has always been their thing to launch at 30fps. As long as it's stable 30fps, then it should be fine imo. However, it does suck there's no 60fps coming until next gen or mid-gen upgrade. Anyways, already preordered the early edition, but I ain't got pockets like that to buy the watch edition 😅
There's always PC. There will probaly a 60 FPS or Frame Rate Unlock mod within a week of release.
3rd person is ALWAYS better than 1st

They could get filled in over time through patches, or the in game AI. That's part of the potential.

They said there’s more fully fleshed out area and content than their last few games combined.

The excessive amount of planets just serve to make the world more believable and to give you a place to gather resources, money, xp, and build settlements if you want.

TYRONE GA!
I just randomly watched the Starfield Direct. Had no intention of buying this at first. Wow this shyt is incredible!!! They combined a lot of genres in one.

I have never commited to playing a Bethesda game before. I own Skyrim but never got past the tutorial. I might play this shyt though.

Edit: LOL @ 30fps. It's okay. I'm playing Zelda at 30fps on Nintendo Switch so I can't complain.

Edit: Oh shyt I can steal ships????

DAY ONE COP!!!

I'm creating a Space Ninja Thief Build.

Pickpocketing and Robbing all y'all.

Switch is cheeks power wise so 30fps for them gets the :yeshrug: . And we know Nintendo gets graded on a curve with main titles.

But if a game is good it's gonna be good regardless.

However imagine TOTK at 60fps

TOTK is great in 60fps. You just gotta emulate in on PC. I bought the Switch version, so I don't feel bad about playing the emulated version. It's not 100% perfect, but it's very playable. I'm waiting on some more graphics mods, but you can play it at super-ultra wide 1440p, 60fps with the appropriate gpu. I've never seen a new game emulated so fast.

Not flying within the atmosphere is disappointing, but it probably just would have been too much of a technical feat to pull off. Perhaps it will be like the Outer Worlds, where you can fast travel your ship to another location on the planet and then walk around the open-world style area.
