Great game with such a terrible ending and response to it that they have to make an extended cut. It's generally agreed that 3 was the beginning of the end for bioware and led to Casey Hudson leaving.
But sure, Mass Effect 3 is great and people were super stoked about it and looking forward to the reboot which is why it wasn't even in the top selling best games of that year or even the besr selling the month of release and got beat out by wildlands of all things

Revisionist history. Mass Effect 3 despite the ending was a huge game, it has a damn 93 metacritic. The ending alone didn’t ruin the hype for the next BioWare game, it wasn’t until Anthem that people started to really sour on BioWare.
The last two BGS games weren’t received that well either yet here we are. Let’s stop the bs and lets stop acting like everyone here ain’t gonna be equally as hyped for Mass Effect 4 just like they were for the Legendary Edition. People have bad memories with gaming franchises and companies they love
Andromeda ended up selling bad because it was a bad game, that had nothing to do with the the initial hype

Of course we move from players to critics. The fukking ending controversy was huge and bioware said the same shyt "well, we reviewed well" but decided to listen to the fans and change the way the ending work.
A huge game that was 3rd in sales for the month, didn't end up in the top 10 best selling games of the year and was considered a general disappointment to the point they're now rebooting the series for a second time
Idk what BGS has to do with this and no, not everyone is gonna be hyped for fukking mass effect 4 after 3, Andromeda and Anthem.
Starfield really has you twisted up lol. You were even in the BG3 thread randomly giving laughing reactions to a nikka saying he's gonna finish up BG3 so he can play starfield.
Just gonna stop responding to you like everyone else in this thread did and go back to being hyped.
