I have never hoped a movie flopped as hard as I do this one. They can’t even use the bullshyt “well we did what you wanted!” Excuse because NOBODY wanted this.

The weirdo Reylo fans don’t get their happy ending.

The new weirdo “woke” fans don’t get their strong female protagonist because she got GOT by a fukking aftershock explosion and had to be saved by Ren.

Those who liked TLJ for some reason don’t get a follow up - not that you could since Rian Johnson wrote what was basically HIS ending to the trilogy as the bridge.

Fans in the middle don’t get a satisfying Star Wars movie out of like 5 new movies.

OG fans saw their childhood mythos and stories get lit on fire and pissed on.

Name one group these silly motherfukkers managed to make happy with this???

To be honest deep down I knew what was up but still hoped and prayed. If he wasn’t a Jedi at least make him some what relevant where he isn’t the useless black comic relief. He is just a bumbling fool, it makes me laugh that John Boaga(probably spelt wrong) was working out for the role......nikka why are you working out? So you can scream even louder?

Wanted to tell Rey he loved her but didn't.

Tried to save Rey from Kylo but she force mollywhopped him back into the friendzone and proceeded to kill/revive and end up kissing Kylo.

I enjoyed it. Easily the best of the sequel trilogy and better than the first two prequels.

Palpatine being back was cool, they used Finn and Poe better, they used Luke better, and the fight scenes were good. I liked the twist with Rey being a Palpatine.


My one big beef was that I thought that Leia's death was a bit cheesy and I'm not sure exactly why her dying suddenly converted him back to the light. Granted, I know Carrie Fisher passed and they had to do what they could, but I just don't think that scene really made sense. And I would've appreciated an explanation for how Palpatine survived other than "IDK, clones or the dark side or something probably". And one other minor criticism is that the subplot with C3P0 losing his memory was kind of a waste of time if he was just going to get it back 30 minutes later.

Still though, I thought it was better than expected.
