I think they really fukked up with their being only 1 heir to the Skywalker lineage. They should've did Ben vs Jaina and/or Jacen, OR given Luke's son/daughter the Cade type personality, to have them deal with the weight the Skywalker bloodline carries, as they try t carve their own legacies. That's how I would've jumped started the franchise, so even if you don't use their EU (that's what I'm callin it still) storylines, you still have strong characters, or multiple characters that carry on the tradition, and tied to the OGs, and a connection to each other, and it would make sense.
Yup, but KK threw all that in the bushes. No sympathy for this nonsense.

Like @KevCo said, it's still Star Wars. I enjoy shyt from every movie. I fundamentally dislike what they did with TFA and am perplexed at what they did in parts of TLJ...but I enjoy a lot of both movies still.
