And that justification is trash.

Anakin has the same type of background as Rey, and even he had to be trained and grow into the powers he had. Even anakin took a loss thinking he could run up on a trained jedi before his training was completed and ended up permanently losing a third of his force power.

Rey just came outta nowhere as the most powerful force user ever, no type of character development whatsoever. And that is why she's such a bad main character, there's no fixing that shyt.

:hhh:
Rey is basically a self insert character at this point. Kathleen Kennedy probably sees herself in Rey

Even that's a stretch considering that most people dont see (or atleast wont admit to seeing) themselves as someone who came into existence with the world at their feet and everything handed to them through no real effort.

Do you think someone like trump sees himself as someone who was born too rich to fail? Someone who became even richer despite being a overall failure in every aspect of his life?

Rey is like trump, blessed with every opportunity with no effort put into anything. Finds out she can use the force, and automatically starts performing extremely high level forces feats like jedi mind control. Touches a lightsaber for the first time, and completely outclasses the grandchild of the strongest force user ever, who trained his whole life in the ways of the jedi. Hops into a cockpit for the first time, and is automatically a better pilot than the best pilot in the universe.

shyt is complete garbage.

How Much Is Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Projected to Make Opening Weekend? - IGN

It may already be breaking advance ticket sales, but very early box office tracking for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker projects it to have a softer opening weekend than expected.

According to Box Office Pro's tracking, The Rise of Skywalker is projected to have an opening weekend in the range of $185-225 million for a total domestic box office haul of between $550-750 million.

In comparison, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi opened to $248 million and $220 million, respectively.
