. i actually like Rey despite everyone else's opinions of her.

I liked the concept of Rey in the beginning but the lack of any type of growth or obstacles she's had to overcome soured my opinion of her.

She should have been a female version of luke, but instead they gave us a broken prodigy of a character who's somehow naturally gifted in ways that contradict everything we know about being a force user.

She's so powerful that she makes kylo seem extremely weak and underpowered in comparison.

Kylo freezing the gun blast at the beginning of Force Awakens is the closest I got
Vader Voorhies is definitely iconic though. Doubt there was a theater audience that wasn't at that part

I think more people remember the Vader Vorhees scene over the "Chewie, we're home" scene.

i actually forgot "Chewy, we're home." more of a line than a scene, but i got chills even after seeing that in trailers. shyt, i still get chills every time a SW crawl starts no matter how much i bytch.

i guess? there was plenty of space to make these characters good. i actually like Rey despite everyone else's opinions of her. the new movies just struggle b/c Rey and Ben aren't nearly good enough for everyone else to suck so much. Remember Captain Phasma? Whoa! she's a chrome stormtrooper! Brienne of Tarth! absolutely garbage character. Snoke is one of the worst characters in cinematic history. no hyperbole. We got this evil supreme being, played by a mo-cap Andy Serkis! He looks like dogshyt and did nothing. What about General Weasley? Can't even remember dude's name. Maz Kanata looked like a raisin fukked a scrotum. Good use of an amazing actress right there! What about Rose?! I like her strictly b/c the internet are a bunch of c*nts who went after the poor girl who just got the role of a lifetime... but the character was terrible. ... BB8's cool with me though. nothin but love for BB8

everything you said is true, and I loved Last Jedi for Some of the dope moments it gave me. (The opening, throne room, Holdo going into hyperdrive to take out a fleet and I love the Crait setting)It felt more like “Rey: A star wars story” than episode 8.

gotta like someone. they've given us no one. remember when they cast Benecio Del Toro, and then he was... wtf was he? he was a thief, but then he was good, but then no, he was bad. Name one thing he did in that movie that isn't even 3 years old. He picked a lock or something? what an absolute waste.

JJ Abrams's derivative bullshyt was much better than Rian Johnson's "fukk your derivative bullshyt, I'm changing everything" and it took the entire trilogy wildly off course, which makes it even worse going forward. Star Wars was in a rough spot, and a cool guy "fukk your dumb decisions" approach was the absolute wrong way to go. maybe one day in a vacuum we might appreciate TLJ more, but i doubt it.
