I still think the biggest problem with Last Jedi was that it wasn't a 2nd part of a trilogy, it felt like a 2nd episode of a 6 ep. mini series. And you also have to add the fact that it threw to the garbage most of the stuff that TFA (which I like less and less the more time goes on) established.

TLJ is kind of a "What If" movie instead of proper sequel to Ep. 7. So it left very little room to actually finish the trilogy. Like, there's no way Palpatine showing up doesn't feel forced and rushed, same with whatever the fukk they are gonna do with Rey - who already is a character that doesn't feel natural - and how the finish this whole saga.

Rey looks like a clone in the video.

She does look weird, like she's on auto pilot. I buy the clone/possessed theory. She doesn't even have the corrupted Sith eye, but then again, neither does Kylo.

If you look at the face closely, one side is Kylo, the other is Rey.

Nah, it's just the reflection from the light saber.

Wouldn't be JJ Abrams first time to retcon using time travel. Believe that is just pure speculation, because JJ was always gonna fukk over Johnson film after Johnson threw out all of JJ's orginial ideas. So, JJ just creates some bullshyt time travel to course correct to his original vision. Pretty sure Ford is 100% done tho.
They introduced Jedi time travel in that Rebels show with them pulling Ahsoka out of the past just before Vader apparently kills her

I think what hurt TLJ was all the fake outs and "subverting expectations" with childish ideas.

The man turned a star wars film into a 2 hour chase scene with so many bad fake outs. Luke Skywalker's personality. Leia death. Del Toro's character. Snooke death. Rey's lineage. Ren vs. Luke. That stupid lady that concealed her plan for the lore breaking hyper drive crash. The stupid love bit with Finn. Making Poe and Finn complete idiots Etc.

Kennedy never should of let him wrote the film and Kennedy needs bring in a producer that fukking knows Star Wars for the sake of quality control. Johnson would of been a great director.. Just a horrible writer.

I totally agree with Kennedy, her run in charge of SW has been filled with problems and not having a grand plan and story arch for the biggest saga in the franchise is something that boggles the mind. 10-15 years from people now wont be able to understand how this mess of a trilogy was handled so badly. It makes zero sense, specially when they had a guy like Filoni RIGHT THERE :francis:

I think I'm more fond of TLJ because I really liked what Johnson did with the Force lore. And I honestly didn't had that big of a problem with what he did to Luke, though I totally understand people despising it. The movie has a buch of flaws for sure, but the positives I liked A LOT so I still like what he did...problem was, he didn't have any foundation for that stuff, and he laid very little groundwork for others to build upon other than what he did with the Force. That could've been taken care of an made better with a guy like Filoni overseeing and working on that script.

Kennedy just saw a guy that gave her no problems, was cheap and was going to make a billion dollars in the box office :francis:

I'm looking forward to it.

Last Jedi is the best of the 8 to me.
:mjtf:
POSSIBLE SPOILERS - DO NOT CLICK THIS IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF PLOT SPOILERS

The leak I read said Rey get's a super special Jedi power due to a crack in the force that basically gives her time travel powers, and she turns back time so it ends with Han, Luke etc being alive again.

Probably bullshyt. But this is some Disney ass shyt so it wouldn't surprise me :deadrose:
Wouldn't even be mad.... Just Thanos snap everything after Return Of the Jedi

Yea the prequels did the fights right. My only gripe was too much green screen instead of using real locations and building up props.its like a sugary ass cake. I know that costs bread but thats the reason why the OG holds up better visually and feels like your actually in those places. Rogue One nailed the environments with scarif and yavin 4

My interests are up for Ep 9 now. Dark rey and palpatine. That fight looks like where the death star wreckage is on that water planet. In the battlefront 2 story mode they mention luke was looking for palps treasure vault so its probably a trap plot that leads them both there and he possess the winner.

Also did i hear Vader’s breathing at the end?

You forgot the asinine over-the-top identity politics pandering that infested that movie...

Every male character in that movie was either a complete moron or had a partially functional brain...And they tried to call the fans "sexist" and "toxic" for pointing out that blatant bullshyt...

The problem with these movies is that they have done such a a shyt job with Rey and her story that everything that’s happening is basically :manny: So I’m guessing she’s controlled by palapatine/Vader and is a sith? Well since after two movies and I don’t know who Rey is I don’t give a fukk. It’s really bad when the star war stories are smoking the main line movies in terms of quality
