I have pretty low expectations they can undo the damage TLJ did to this trilogy, but at least they're taking steps in the right direction by bringing back the Knights of Ren, who I think will play a bigger role in this film. I'm also hearing rumors that

a third faction is introduced. Some type of group from "the beyond". Might be something similar to the Vong, or at least I'm hoping. This is what people are saying on the Star Wars forums at least.
