Finn was a janitor breh, he didn't know shyt.

- Got his name from a white man
- Got his ass whipped by Rey
- Got his ass saved from those tentacle things by Rey
- Tried to desert Rey/Han
- Got his ass whipped by a random stormtrooper
- Got his ass whipped by Kylo
- Got a kiss on the forehead
- Got his ass whipped by that asian chick
- Had to be sat down like a little boy and told that "there's not just good and evil" durr
- Almost got got by Phasma
- Got 'saved' by that Asian chick who then molested him
- Got a hug from Rey

These are his accomplishments so far. And I'm pretty sure I left shyt out @Ziggiy did I get it all?

Wasn’t he putting in work in the first scene of TFA? When they raid that village? Why was he on the ground if he’s a janitor?
Because in the prequel comic before force awakens, Finn was originally a highly skilled storm trooper that was said to be one of the best in the entire first order but him caring too much for his weaker squad mates put him at odds with the first order and caused him to second guess his place in the order.

He was not a janitor originally.

They changed his back story cause everyone but Rey has to be a wack jobber who's sole purpose is comedic relief.

This is how Finn was described in the prequel comic.

12 Things We Learned About Rey, Finn, and Poe from Before the Awakening | StarWars.com

" FN-2187 was a model stormtrooper. He was praised by Captain Phasma and held up as an example to others — he even earned marks in the top one percent. In other words, he ruined the bell curve for everyone else.

Despite being an ideal soldier, FN-2187 was flawed in one major way in the eyes of his superiors. He was kind. He showed concern for his squad mates and that was not acceptable."

He went from being in the top 1 percent in terms of skills, to a janitor with no combat experience whatsoever.

No wonder John Boyega low key doesn't fukk with these movies. They straight up neutered his character JUST to prop up Rey.

How the fukk was he a top 1% storm trooper if he got PTSD the first time he saw someone get shot?

And if you’ve seen Attack of the Clones, they have extensive training programs for storm troopers from childhood to adulthood (even longer for Finn, since he doesn’t have accelerated aging like the clones). How did they not weed him out years ago as unfit for combat?

from everything I'm seeing, it looks like your boy Finn is gonna be the sidekick to his 3rd chick in the series. Even if he eventually bangs this one, he's the biggest simp in movie history. Honestly, at this point I hope they blow it up and just start hitting us with payoffs to horrible online theories like Finn and Poe are a gay couple, Darth Jar Jar, Rey is Anakin reincarnated, etc. i'll more than likely enjoy that more than the ultimate story

Originally it wasn't the first time he saw combat. He had other missions where he ended up at odds with the first order because his focus was making sure his teammates survived instead of completing his mission.

The whole PTSD janitor story came after the prequel comic. Originally he left cause he didn't like seeing innocent people being murdered, not because he was scared.

His original backstory could have made for a badass character.

A highly skilled ex stormtrooper who turned on the first order cause he didn't like the way they murdered innocent people.

Now he's a scared little bytch who jumps in fear the moment the wind changes.

I’m saying, the First Order has literally millions of storm troopers, maybe even billions (to be able to control a galaxy of trillions). If this dude wasn’t performing adequately, he would’ve been replaced in a second. Also, how is he forming bonds with his fellow soldiers and shyt? They’re all wearing masks. And how is a janitor assigned to Kylo Ren? You’d think he’d have the top troops with him while looking for Luke. Straight trash excuses for this incoherent story.
