Star Wars fan trying to rationalize their disappointment in the FFC announcement right now.
"Sure it's not what I was expecting, but I'm glad that the charities are getting the attention they need. I do understand the bad taste this will leave considering they made it sound completely unrelated and suspense of something like, oh I don't know? Theatrical version of ANH? But still very happy that at least the charities got the attention. Hopefully people will donate."
"Pretty sure it could have been announced without anyone having to sit through "Good Morning America". I'll donate to the cause, because it's a good cause."
"I was expecting this. I know it's for charity but it's safe to say many people are let down."
"Look. I'm all for donating for an amazing cause but how is this considered a big announcement? And shouldn't they just saved this one for Celebration this week?"
