Luke got his ass whooped, dismembered, threw himself down that shaft and just had a nap after. He was all smiles with Leia.
Anakin got the same and was digging out Padme almost instantly, he probably used his golden hand cause he looked like a perv.
Shyt Anakin got his hand and legs chopped off, burned alive and lay next to lava and still didn't pass out. Then they ripped off his skin while he was conscious and put him in a robotic suit. He was tearing up the room right after.
Finn got punched in the face, poked in thr shoulder and slashed across his back. Went
immediately and stayed like that for...well we'll know in two years I guess.I'm not as anti-Finn as some, but there definitely is no parallell between him and any other hero in the movies.
Owyeah Obi-Wan also got stabbed up by Dooku but he was helping out Anakin. In Episode III he got
'ed once but woke up soon after.@Vincenzo_Corleone pretty sure Anakin was unconscious when he was in the medical capsule being transported to Coruscant
Let's see what would have happened to Anakin, Luke or Obi-Wan if they had a lightsaber (a vicious and unstable one at that) slice up their back and spine. I think all of them would have fallen unconscious

I hate Finn too. They made him hateable.
As far as parralels, they can use this opportunity to put make him robotic to cure his spinal injury, then he could be like Darth, except on the light side. Make him a vicious half-droid who is Poe's pit bull. He and BB accompany Poe on a mission, then he gets into an epic fight with Phasma.

The robotic shyt can kick rocks too. They always have to give black characters that lame ass shyt.
the difference between this boards reaction to Finn vs. reaction on some other boards is hilarious. Just saw a post somewhere which basically explained how Finn is the most important character in TFA, since without him Poe doesn't escape, Rey has no idea why First Order just tries to steal their droid (and more likely succeed) and the Resistance doesn't really have a chance to survive against the First Order.

I agree that it would make 0% sense to suddenly make Finn less than the co-lead though. My guess is that he'll end up being force sensitive/potentially a jedi, since that could partially explain why he decided to leave First Order (=Force awakened etc.)

Also among other reasons for Finn being FS you would expect that Episode 9 would end with a New Jedi Order being formed and new Jedi trained. Who better than Finn to help create it?

Hell you could even make an argument that he definitely is not FS since the movie is called force awakens and he is sleep at the conclusion
