The nikka was a storm trooper, one of the Star Wars version of the keystone cops. What in the world EVER made you think he was gonna be something special?

Like, the first thing he wakes up and thinks about?

Tariq is the only reason I laugh when he says "Rey" now, lol. But seriously Yes, the last memory he had was the fight with Kylo. He doesn't know if she's dead or not. It's a very logical that he would wake up in a panic like that because he was in a stressful situation before Kylo lit him up. But they need to stop this teasing with Rey and Finn if they aren't going to be a couple. I can see some of the criticisms with Finn's characterization because they did give a feeling he was going to be a Jedi with Rey and that could still very well happen. Because Poe is clearly the "Han" of the crew. Rey is Luke/Leia, I don't view Finn as a Lando but there are parallels with Lando working for the Empire then flipping and being apart of the Resistance. I still like Finn's character arc because he was a Stormtrooper. All we've known about them is they are mindless clone drones. Dude went from Stormtrooper to taking on Vader's Grandson with no Jedi Training and actually caused some damage. It's Rey-Finn-Poe. That's the new Big 3. I think they all know fans want Finn to be a Jedi but they could be saving that for the final climax, we don't know what's going to happen to Rey in this Chapter. Maybe Luke will have to train Finn and they all take on Snoke. Nothing against Samuel L but Mace was already a Jedi Master when we were introduced to him. I think we all want a Bada$$ young Black Jedi that we could grow with the character. I think that's what most people are hoping for Finn. We don't know but I'm happy Luke will have a bigger role in this film. I can't believe I waiting 30 Years for 30 Seconds of Luke Skywalker. Thanks JJ, lol.

And while I didn't have a problem with Finn on my viewings, I get how people don't get much from him in the film.

He already has a mysterious past, then, you make this such a big part of his character

Question! In battlefront 2 we see that mad people died at the battle of Jakku so wouldnt that make the planet a dark side nexus and explain why rey is so strong in the (dark side) force??

Possibly, but no powerful, dark-side inclined Force senstives fought at the Battle of Jakku. I'm not sure if that matters or not, but maybe conflict between "non Force-sensitives" is less likely to create one.
There may still be a dark-side nexus on Jakku due to ancient Jedi-Sith conflicts though. Perhaps that is why Palpatine was so so interested in the planet.
