if the black dude is a stormtrooper that means they aren't all clones then.

which is perhaps another hint they are ditching prequel continuity.

The stormtroopers from the original trilogy weren't clones. The clones from the prequels were all killed off and the Emperor started drafting actual people, which was the reason those stormtroopers were incompetent with lack of sufficient aim instead being the DNA of Jargo Fett.

- abrams has a proven track record of being able to make fun, action packed films. star trek into darkness very much felt like a star wars type adventure movie.

- it is being written by the same dude that wrote empire, in CONJUNCTION with the director.

- the trailer was fukkin awesome.

have some hope!
I thought those star trek flicks he did were mediocre at best. this shyt will be better i think. the teaser was just aight...but its just a tease.

is that official or is that some theory you just came with? i dunno i don't follow much star wars stuff outside of the films and i can't really tell if you're joking. how would all the clones have been killed off?

if they were mediocre it was because of the story.

but they were still fun to watch at their best.

I'm actually not that big a fan of Abrams' Star Trek movies. The first one was decent popcorn entertainment but I found the second one sorely lacking. And even though I don't particularly care about Star Trek, I always thought it was kinda lame he basically turned them into (barely average) Star Wars movies.

I know Kasdan is writing it, but he hasn't written anything particularly worthwhile in a decade or two.

If by 'awesome' you mean 'alright'. Not to rain on anyone's parade but I'm long past getting excited over a minute of interchangeable special effects footage while a villain drops dramatic quotables.

The one man that saved STAR TREK & STAR WARS :blessed:

Call a man the savior of Star Wars a full year before you'll even find out for sure, brehs.

Anyway, its gif time!

It's LONG been official. The operation discontinued after The Republic turned to The Empire. All the clones were discontinued and real people were recruited.

eh... whatever. the prequels aren't apart of my canon anyway:yeshrug:

doesn't make sense that the emperor would willingly put a stop to the clones. why wouldn't you want an entire army full of more efficient and more easily controlled soldiers? why wouldn't he just keep making clones into the billions and put the galaxy into a vice grip?
