damn, you might be right. def looks like a mon calamari cruiser, but I think its the Liberty type that got blasted by the Death Star.

Tight sequence tho definite homage to ROTJ flying to the core of the second Death Star

this feels bigger than episode 1 imo, at least it does to me. then again it's easy to say that now because hindsight is 20/20 and the prequels ended up amounting to a giant dump. truthfully though at the time, when Lucas was still god in the flesh and could do no wrong, there really was nothing bigger.

but I think even if you polled fans back in 99 and you gave them the option of sequels or prequels, mostly everyone would have wanted sequels. I mean you tell me which movie would have been more in demand, the one with anakin and obi wan in their younger days or a new movie with luke, leia, han and the gang.

no question the sequels are a bigger deal.

No doubt. Everyone went with the prequel idea because it was still Star Wars. I still contend that no one would have cared if those were episodes 7, 8, 9, and now we were getting an episode 10. If there was never a 1, 2, or 3 on film, no one would care.

People like Darth Vader because he's a bad ass, and they I don't think they needed to see how he became a bad ass for him to still be cool.

This feels so much bigger than the prequels. The fresh blood is already so apparent. Lucas doing this would've made it so trash. I wonder how he feels knowing that people are so much more excited about this knowing that he's not involved. Every second of dopeness in the teasers and trailers, I wonder if it eats him up at night?

dude. if this film actually delivers? avengers is getting stomped the fukk out. there is NO COMPETITION. fans been waiting for a star wars flick worthy of the OGs for decades.

the phantom menace is one of the best-selling flicks of all-time and it fukking sucked.
