Lupita is the real bad guy. They call her something like Mumila(source was not sure). Imagine Asajj Ventress or a sister of the night type that appears like a normal lady to everyone else. Apparently she's a politician of some type. Its not clear if she is a practicer of the Sith Religion with the force and all. But she apparently has battle armour similar to or just like Vader and goes around doing bad. Her henchman, apprentice type is Adam Driver. He's a decendent of one of the former Sith Lorde. The source said possibly Count Dooku. He's a Sith Fanatic and collector of Sith relics, like the "lightsaber" in the trailer. They call him the Grave Digger because he finds old Sith graves and collects the artifacts. He is also a big fanatic of the religion and is seeking to get to the Sith Lord level.

I also think I would have been amped for a shot of old luke skywalker, or any familiar face. I did like the shots of the x-wings... but im underwhelmed... it happens.

That helmet looks like a skull. It doesn't really look like Revan's helmet outside of the general shape. It has two eye holes and bands on the head, not the visor:

Furthermore, there's some leaked art of a cyborg villain character with a half-mechanical face that people are saying is the same character as this one in the mask.

good catch, I just looked at the two briefly and thought they were the same. my hypothesis is andy serkis plays the mechanical sith dude and adam driver plays his sith apprentice

I have a question about lightsabers. Were they ever powered by the wielder's life? I was looking at his "unsheathing", and two things stood out. One, it looks like fire and not a "clean" laser beam like what we have been commonly shown and two, the dramatic "step/ stomp" that he does as if he's forcing it's activation. Or is this just cosmetic/ dramatic effect? Either way, it's stunning and cool as hell.
