Yo complaint about Boyega sounds EXACTLY as the same talking points that racist cacs had about Cam Newton this past week.
Except cam Newton isn't propped up he's succeeding on God given talent in spite of the media. Boyega's position isn't secure he could die in any of the sequels and all this would be looked at as a dude savouring his 15mins of fame

She's not too picky. She pretty much signed an exclusive contract with Disney. Her next 3 movies are all Disney. She'll probably end up in the MCU also (Black Panther hopefully).fukking respectability politics even killing young black actors out here...

Lupita is in an odd spot career wise...
She has the obvious handicaps that we don't even need to mention (Racial issues, and this is the biggest hurdle, but we already know about that). But...she's also like 31, has an accent (Can't play even most black roles without her accent needing to be explained away), and her most famous role was her playing a slave...certainly not the "young ingenue" entrance that most actresses want to make.
Oddly enough, and this is what's bizarre, she also seems to have slightly fallen into that Sienna Miller/Kate Bosworth clothes-hanger/style icon over actress void. I think she went to Cannes this year *just* promoting a dress. She gets lots of magazine covers and such, and the girl *can* dress and make-up her ass off, but that career path leaves you...well, like Miller/Bosworth.
To be fair...she also may have been too picky for her own good. She's always rumored to be involved in some project and then turning it down. I think she should try to hook up with Shonda/Daniels and try to get a guest spot on Scandal/Empire or something. That would give her a nice jolt, she'd reach wider audiences...could probably try to volley for a guest-spot emmy or something.
