aight brehs non movie related question but... who wins this fight?
Obi Wan vs Emperor Palpatine around Episode 3
-Obi bodied Darth Maul, General Grievous and stalemated Anakin at his strongest point, but got that work from Dooku twice I believe
-Palpatine slaughtered 3 Jedi masters in about 10 seconds, stalemated Yoda with the saber and beat him with the force, but took an L to Mace Windu in a head up
and who trains Finn? Luke?I hope he doesnt fight clunky and wild like in ROTJ

how easily Dooku defeated Obi Wan both times. Maybe you can argue the Jedi are like boxers and it depends on the matchups but I just think it was bad writing on Lucas' part. Dooku didn't even break a sweat sonning Obi Wan twice yet Anakin bodied Dooku in the second fight

If anything I think the only reason Kenobi lost that fight was cuz he was psyched out... Dooku is actually the dude who trained Qui-Gon Jinn so its like

Lucas is a shytty writer tho, Im glad we going back to Jedi and Sith being a rare, almost mythic thing cuz it was getting cartoonish... idk how ppl like the other stuff in the movies like to me at least, Im paying to see the lightsaber battles thats why I hope they make these new ones dope

Yeah I guess that makes sense. Other argument I've seen is Obi Wan was just tired from fighting in the arena and then the droids earlier. Really I think it was just Lucas needing an excuse to have Yoda come in and save the day

Its amazing how stiff the acting is from the mains, lack of swag outside of Darth Maul and Mace Windu, shyt like Jar Jar, the stupid clone/droid wars, everybody and they mama had a lightsaber, and the CGI has aged terribly... only one Ill even consider watching again is part 3 or the end of part 1, everything else

3 was decent but it gets overrated due to people's expectations being low after 1 and 2. Anakin's turn to Darth Vader was way too abrupt, the pacing was all over the place, more cartoonish CGI and of course the infamous "Nooooooo"
yea its like they designed the rawest character in the series history and gave him a slick ass weapon, made menacing as fukk only 2 throw him in the bushes.... for real Im hoping the real Sith in the new trilogy looks cool... Sith should always look IMPOSING

Maul had so much potential but Lucas fukked it up.
Maul should've been the main villain in episodes 1 and 2. Idk, have Maul kill Anakin's mother and Anakin's motivation for becoming a Jedi be so that he could be powerful enough to avenge his mom. Have Palpatine encourage Anakin to hunt Maul down and kill him so that Anakin would be his new apprentice. Imagine how dope Episode 2 would've been if part of the plot was Maul assassinating different politicians and Palpatine ordering Anakin to track him down and kill him. Anakin defeats him, his victory increases his arrogance which would set up Episode 3
So many missed opportunities in the prequels
3 hour lunch breaks, free star wars paraphernelia, this nikka is living the lifeJust got asked to be a storm trooper tomorrow at work...I go in the conference room and they had the damn costume laid out...

obi won picked his spots though, he beat darth maul after he was hanging on a ledge and underestimated nad using the force to strike him, same with anakin, anakin would have killed him if he didnt have the higher ground.
even when he beat grevious same thing hanging over a ledge using the force to get a gun to blast grevious
sidious would have bodied him, why yoda sent him to fight anakin
damn I thought Rey was going to be a Skywalker, and that she would be be a powerful force sensitive. Which can still happen without powerful force using parents, so either that or she's a Kenobi/related to someone else
