Star Wars Episode I vs Episode II: Which one is truly the WOAT?

Ep 1 has most of the votes. Plinkett made some good points in his ep 1 review:

* Palpatine's whole plan seems to be to scare the people of Naboo and the Senate into initiating a vote of no confidence in that other dude so that Palpatine can assume power in his place. In that case, then wouldn't it make more sense for him to have his people tell the Jedi "Nah, we ain't negotiating nothin' Now run and tell that."

Then the Jedi telling them the news would create fear and would have accomplished a lot more than if he had just murked both of the Jedi on the spot.

And after that the senate decides that an independent team needs to go verify those claims that the invasion is really happening. Is the Jedi's testimony not good enough? You trust them to settle interstellar trade disuptes, but don't believe them when they say an invasion is coming

Wonder if plinkett is gonna go in on the new movie

It's funny, when TPM ended, I had the same reaction that Rick McCallum had after watching that test screening of TPM....

I didn't think there was any videos of audiences reactions after TPM, but Double Toasted found one and played it during their review of TFA. Everyone in the video loved it, except for one guy. I need to see if I can find that video.

Man its easily for me episode 1!
As a kid I loved episode 1 with jarjar fcking around and kid anakin.

But now I can't watch it without going 2 sleep right after the pod race I get stupid sleepy.

1 was just boring, it was about politics, trade routes and bad accent's. Btw anyone notice Leia switching up between American accents and English accents in the first?

I haven't seen Ep 1 since it came out, but minus the flippy lightsaber battles that look stupid and being a little long, ep 2 was pretty good (saw it again a couple weeks ago). Pretty entertaining movie with some good backstory.

Episode II is the absolute worst movie of that year...maybe even the decade. Never in my life have I actually laughed during a supposedly serious moment like I did in that movie. The script and acting was so bad it almost prevented me from seeing Sith. It's that horrible.

Bro star wars movies are goofy as sh1t, as an adult you're capable of laughing at half the movie if you don't turn off your impulse to do so at the beginning.

They serve their purposes tho, kids love the prequels whereas we have the original trilogy, now we have a new trilogy that we can finally both enjoy

Episode 1 had too many puppets. Darth Maul was the only reason to watch..

Anakin was a real p*ssy in episode 2

It was horrible..

I like Revenge of the Sith the best.

Honestly, we need a PT appreciation thread. Where we can acknowlledge all of the good in them. After all,m the story was excellent. The Jedi subtle arrogance was their downfal, manipulating a$$ b*stards.
