I believe Ewan Mcgregor should have played anakin and Liam Neeson should have played Obi Wan but I refuse to even go back and watch the movies at this point I just pretend like the prequels didnt happen.

Attack for me. While i admit that Episode 1 is not a good movie, I enjoyed it as a kid, even Jar Jar( i was 9). Even today it has some really good parts. Attack was boring as hell for me.

I dunno how much it was the script or the actors but Portman and Hayden were straight up trash in the prequels. They botched every serious scene and came across sooooo damn corny. Like dudes said Ewan McGregor killed his role so u cant blame the script 100%. Someone shouldve pulled those 2 aside and told them to step it the hell up. I dunno how they were watching the finished products and not think "this is some corny ass bullshyt :mjlol:". Their acting killed the prequels more than anything for me. Episode 1 had the same issue times 100 with JarJar and that kid that played Anikin who was fukking atrocious.

I wonder if Disney will remake the prequels?
Hell nah. Well if anything they can go back when Vader was Vader way after the prequels happened. Show his adventures. They doing a Han Solo movie too right? Yeah there's gonna be a lot of star wars in the next decade. Might be overkill.

Ep 2 for sure. The CGI is like a cake with too much frosting and your teeth start to hurt before your half way done.the last battle i felt like i was about to have a seizure with all the shyt going on.

Episode 1 was saved by Maul's great character design and great choregraphed fight scene and a little less CGI. All those special editions of the OG trilogy had Lucas itching to use that cgi smh my 6 yr old was even looking at the flicks like :francis:

Before We went to TFA.

I didnt even realize it but the new prequels like Han's,Boba fett and Rogue are during the Vader Era so new Vader scenes will be an easy Billy

Ep 1 has most of the votes. Plinkett made some good points in his ep 1 review:

* Palpatine's whole plan seems to be to scare the people of Naboo and the Senate into initiating a vote of no confidence in that other dude so that Palpatine can assume power in his place. In that case, then wouldn't it make more sense for him to have his people tell the Jedi "Nah, we ain't negotiating nothin' :birdman: Now run and tell that."

Then the Jedi telling them the news would create fear and would have accomplished a lot more than if he had just murked both of the Jedi on the spot.

And after that the senate decides that an independent team needs to go verify those claims that the invasion is really happening. Is the Jedi's testimony not good enough? You trust them to settle interstellar trade disuptes, but don't believe them when they say an invasion is coming :mjlol:

When in the video does this happen?
after the screening when Lucas, mccalluum, and the editor are in the kitchen.

Mccalluum is literally speechless and you could see for a brief moment he says something like "remember the first Star Wars...".... and you could tell midway he was just like fukk it it's no use.

In that same doc George's first reaction to watching Episode I was "...I might have gone too far" and then does the George chuckle.

He recently said that if he could go back he would've done some smaller projects before jumping back into the director's seat for Phantom.

To me the prequels seem like him relearning how to shoot a movie.

Episode I was his first go. Was a big mess.
Episode II he figured out how to tell an interesting story but the script / acting wasn't consistent.
Episode III he got his groove back.

Both are terrible. Hilarious and sad that Lucas felt Jar Jar was the "key" to episode I being a success. What was he thinking?

That video of them watching the first cut before release says it all. Lucas knew he fukked up. Terrible writing.
U gotta a link to this
