Lootbox is nothing more than gambling the difference is with gambling you might actually see a return on your investment with online lootboxes you gamble for some random shyt until you eventually get what you want it's basically gambling for kids creating young addicts why any sane person would justify it is beyond me who would want to pay over and over when they just paid 60+

and it would go somewhere if you actually didn't purchase and support the bs system it's not that hard just a little self-control and you can have a complete product at launch or you can continue paying to get content removed while saying "ohh I enjoyed grinding for x amount of hours to unlock a character someone else paid for and kicked my ass with on launch day"

You do know a solo studio just released an AA game with none of the bullshyt and still made a profit companies don't need to take every fukking dollar to be a success,just saying
