Amazing episode. Best live action Star Wars show/movie since original trilogy.

I was thinking the same halfway through the episode.

I love how they show how oppressive the empire is. It made me root for everyone's escape that much more.

That bird'e eye view of everyone swimming away :wow:

Stellan Skarsgard is killing it as Luthen.

I'm convince that Luthren is the Gus Fring of the Rebellion. This nikka is playing everybody to his advantage.

OK....NostraFetus is gonna make a prediction and I think I'm really onto something. :banderas:

At the very end when they get to the land and you see three suns....
Where else has three suns? :jbhmm:

Remember back in The Book of Boba Fett when they mentioned that there used to be an ocean in the desert? :ohlawd:

I think the Empire had multiple facilities like the one Andor was in on Tatooine that were using the ocean for it's hydro power and drained it.

NostaFetus out.

No Whammies!!
:wow:

I guess the only nitpick I have about the whole prison system is that recycling people would be known pretty much ASAP. Even people getting into Narkina 5 should be mofos that were relocated from another facility and there's no way they would keep their mouths shut (they have nothing to lose at that point).

I don't think it was fully explained how this recycling "works" without riots everywhere. Even if it's just something that was established after the Empire got even more strict after Aldhani, it should still be happening in more places than just Narkina 5.

Anyways, this show is fukking incredible and the fact THAT's the only "bad" thing I can say about it just shows how well written it is. Luthen's monologue was something else :picard:

I think nobody figured out because the recycling was part of the NEW program that was just put in place. The same new program that caused Andor's sentence to be increased to 6 years.

Prior to the new "reforms", Andor would have been sentenced to 6 months then released. The whole "permanent slave prison" thing is just getting started.

What we are seeing now is the Empire in the process of "altering the deal". The more time passes, the more oppressive they get.

EDIT:
And some of the new oppressive "reforms" are actually in response to the SUCCESS that the rebellion has been having thanks to Andor himself.
