The trademark doesn’t mean anything, it just another name for Team Asano. They do both new games and they work on remasters.

Square Enix are doing remasters for a simple reason, they have a huge back catalogue of highly desired classic games. I’m not even sure what you’re arguing aobut, theres nothing weird about publishers remastering games. Capcom just dropped the Mega Man Battle Network, but if i bring that up you just move the goalpost.

So to summarize:

You: why are square remastering and remaking so many games

Me: a lot of publishers are, AAA games take a long time so they are utilizing their back catalogues to fill in release gaps

You: why are you mentioning other publishers?

Me: because they are all doing it

You: but square called it a specific thing

Me: but its the same thing in the end, they are just remastering old games

You: show me where other publishers are calling their remasters something different

me: why does it matter

You: it does matter

Me: why

You: because it does

Me: They're re-releasing games at an alarming rate.

You: Capcom does it too

Me: That doesnt dismiss what I said

You: Well...everyone does it

Me: Name those publishers.

You: ***tumbleweeds****

Do you think I'm unaware of Capcom re-releasing games? Post the list of publishers.

Nintendo, Capcom, Konami, Sony, Take Two, Activision, Ubisoft, Etc. Etc.

Literally every single publisher has released a bunch of remasters and remakes every year. Are you denying that?

I strongly disagree.
And I thought it went without saying, but I guess I have to literally say it since I'm dealing with a different type of special here.

Post the re-releases in comparison with the new games for those publishers. Still waiting.

You had no problems rushing in here to make lists before. What happened?

And LOL @ listing Konami.

Are you finished or are you done?

Nintendo alone this year are releasing more remasters than square enix:

Kirby Dreamland Deluxe
Advanced Wars
Metroid Prime remastered

And I’m sure they got a least a couple more for the fall

you’re slow, i literally just proved you’re wrong and you’re putting your head in the sand. I can’t help you

:manny: remaster/remakes provide an opportunity to play these games. Capcom is doing great in making sure shyt is at accessible on all platforms. SE catching up. But on SE, they need to direct funds to teams that will do different shyt, like what N-Tendo does.

SE is very stuck on trying to recapture the "golden" days instead of trying to invest in something that will actually stick w/ people.
