Yeah if you spend $1500 on hardware. Are a majority of PC gamers spending $1500?
7800xt or 4070 ($500 max) + whatever $150 CPU + $80 RAM + $100 motherboard + $40 PSU + $40 case is nowhere near $1500... and I'm throwing out brand new prices. All that can be had for way less with refurbished or used parts

That's still the best part of $1000 dollars. And doesn't include a controller. So spend $200-$300 more than a PS5 pro to get better graphics and framerates or buy second-hand parts.

Dude I quoted said $1500 or did you miss that?

Everybody and their mom has a controller that will work with PC already (PS4/5, Xbox, $5 bluetooth controller). The price you pay for PSN over one year or so is the $200-300 difference you're pointing out...

Better graphics, framerates, pay much less for games (if you pay anything), free online play, can control every aspect instead of just some "quality" or "performance" preset, DLSS pretty much changing gaming, game mods if you want to go that route, damn near all major MS and Sony games playable...

I own all major consoles and a PC so I'm just telling you the truth. No bias over here

Again you dudes are dumpster diving for parts and making crazy scenarios in your head to make a brand new pc equiv or even close to the specs of the ps5 right now.

Are you including taxes:mjpls:GeForce RTX 4070 GPUs / Video Graphics Cards | Newegg

And lol at 100 board and 40 dollar psu :heh:
Are yall including taxes when you say a PS5 Pro is $700? I'll wait...

There is a 4070 at Walmart (sold in store) for exactly $499.99 and I didn't even take the time to really search; that was just the 1st Google listing.

You do understand that if somebody says "4070" there are a whole lot of different 4070 versions, right? Are are you just talking without knowing anything? (Don't answer that question, because the screenshot below answers it for you)

And Notice how you looked up a random 4070 (and was still wrong) but not the AMD card I mentioned (which costs even less) because it wouldn't support your smileys...

A 4060ti is $439 at Best Buy right now (do the math, smart ass, that's only $470 after tax) and you'll get similar performance to PS5 Pro. Hell, Best Buy even has an open-box 4070 Super that will straight shyt on whatever is in the PS5 Pro for $479 ($513 after tax...took 10 seconds to "dumpster dive" for that one)...

I did a another quick 10 second Google search and yeah, motherboards with Ryzen or newer Intel sockets are still going for as low as $70.

Are PSU not about $40 when these newer GPU only need 110-150w of power? This isn't the year 2010

Using one of the 10 console controllers you already have in your house is dumpster diving?

Again, you have no idea what you're talking about and acting like buying used or refurbished is some big deal. Ever heard of ebay that had been around for 30 years? And no, I've never bid on anything on ebay; I only "Buy Now".

You saying you wouldn't buy a used PS5 Pro if it was hundreds of dollars less than retail price? Is it really that hard? Are you that much of a PS stan?

I don't understand what people are blaming hackers for

Apparently for the game releasing quicker on PC, if not for the hack and the source files getting out they feel like Sony would have waited a few months longer.

:mjlol:

In reality nothing probably changed or at best once Concord bombed all time tables probably got moved up.
