I personally agree but he’s too loose a cannon. 85% of Nadeskas job it seems is to keep him at bay... Also, I’m pretty sure Akademiks doesn’t want that, indicated by his name on the title screen.

Yeah Ak def don’t want that but it would make for a better show imo

Having star in an equal or almost secondary kinda role feels weird but maybe they’ll make it work who knows

I never watched the show when joe was on but from clips I seen at least they had this dynamic where they would argue like brothers

This last two episodes of this season doesn’t have that feel

Show could have reached new heights had complex kept Joe but still brought in Star

Star is not really interested in discussing a rapper's body of work the way Joe was and breaking down songs/albums. He just says whether he likes a song or not and keeps it moving. Star would rather discuss a rapper's statements and actions, that's why he could have been a good addition to the show instead of a replacement.

Exactly. He's not a hip-hop purist and isn't as invested in the culture as Joe. Joe and Ak were the perfect match for this reason. Star is good for what he does, but I also want to here good insight on the actual MUSIC being made by the artists.
