What you're talking about isn't being an interviewer though. He is a terrible interviewer and I'm a fan of Star. He tends to not know much about the artists artistically. He only knows salacious things about what makes the headlines. What he's great at is being able to rile up people and expose stuff. It's entertaining but it isn't being an interviewer. I'm a fan of Star, he's a great personality but I generally don't learn shyt about an artists when he interviews them. His shyt is just entertaining for the fukkery.
Joe just did 300k in a day on his shyt about Kanye West from his podcast. Everyday Struggle can't even do 300k in a month.Ak the supreme draw yet they contemplating canceling the show?!?!

If Ak was really bringing in numbers like that, there wouldn’t be much need to negotiate.
Not only that if something is bringing money and numbers, you don’t take a month long hiatus. That’s not caping, that’s common sense.
They talked about Cardi and Nicki damn near everyday, now they missing out on all this content. Plus J Cole album and now all this Kanye BS?
I mean if Ak was the big deal like you claim, wouldn’t Complex have him talking about all this stuff on the show?

I have a theory.
MAYBE... just maybe the show wasn't that good to begin with. Maybe people made this out to be something better than what it really was. Maybe the whole concept of the show was redundant with a small shelf life.
That's the only common denominator I could come up with.
Doesn't matter who you bring on. The topics they discussed were at a minimum. They talked about the same shyt very day... And it's ironic, because "Everyday Struggle" was a fitting name because they literally struggled to come up with shyt to talk about most of the time.
When your ONLY asset/staying power is confrontations that become viral, then your product is weak as fukk.

There's not that much that goes on in hip hop to warrant a 1 hour show dedicated to talking about it. Why do you think they revert back to the same topics.
They were basically trying to be a off brand version of TMZ masquerading as some hip hop forum. They were discussing random viral videos, instagram posts and tweets.

They most definitely do talk about LeBron everyday. It's a 2 hour show about sports yet they don't talk about Baseball which has like 15 teams playing everyday or hockey which is in the playoffs. They only talk about Golf when it's Tiger. So if you have a 2 hour show about basketball and the NFL offseason then what are they talking about?
