The show continued without Hoe Budden, like I said months ago he should've taken the deal, let the show get bigger, then negotiate from a position of power, now Ak is saying the show is done without him, a position of power. :banderas:
But the show didn't get bigger after he left. It got way worse to the point that they had to take a hiatus until they could find a new co-star in Star. They went from doing 200k views in a day with Budden to barely doing 100k views in a month up until Star came.

Joe has gotten bigger since he left. His podcast does a million in a week. And his new show pull up has done more views in two episodes than a whole months worth of ES. When Joe left ES, twitter and everyone were in a frenzy. Had Ak doing emotional rants. All the urban media reporting on it. ES been on hiatus for a month now and no one gives a fukk. I legit wouldn't even know this shyt was gone if not for this thread. Haven't seen or heard any media mention Star leaving nor anyone mention Akademiks contract disputes. I doubt anyone will even notice the show is gone at this point.

of course it would, complex would see the short term set-backs without Hoe Budden and power through it with persons more stable than Hoe Budden to build something that would be a staple in the "culture"

If they are cancelling the show because AK isn't gonna be there it means he is a vital part of the show being successful

They are cancelling the show because Joe proved to be the most vital part of the show and they saw they couldn't just pair AK with anybody to keep the train going.

AK just isn't able to Lebron carry them to the same views, viral moments & relevancy. Meanwhile, Joe is creating multiple shows that are doing numbers. What has AK done since he started being on ES? What other shows or content has he created or appeared on since? Where has he shown that he can be the lead of something next level besides a Twitch or IG?

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
I fukked with ES for a little while just because Star was on, and I liked it when he went in on ak, but the show never clicked for me. I am very happy that Star is putting out content again. During ES he would only drop a video every couple weeks, he has heated up again. Lady Shea, Star, Bob the cop, and Kanye's gay cousin shyt all over ANYTHING they have attempted to do on ES. The interview with TK Kirkland was flames, too, I think its entertaining when that old fukk Star starts reminiscing.

:russ: At that being a position of power.

Can’t be that when the show is at its lowest point.

A position of power would have been him riding with Joe when the show was at its peak and saying “alright, time to re-up or we both walk”. :manny:

Instead he stays and on the first episode with Star he gets clowned into oblivion. It got so bad they added another person to the show and now they’ve had a whole month without a new episode. :mjlol:

If it comes back he may have got a check but if he was in a real power position he would get a BAG. :ld:

That guy is delusional. It's been more than 48 hours since that youtube video of Akademiks on twitch explaining why he may leave ES. Also 48 hours since Star went on his youtube and said he left. I just googled "Star leaves Everyday struggle" and there's not a single article or anything being written on it. In fact the first links are about Star replacing Joe Budden on ES back in January. Then I google "akademiks leaving everyday struggle". Again no article or no one talking about it other than Akademiks on twitch. When Joe Budden announced he was gone, there were articles and shyt within the next 30 minutes. Every hiphop blog was talking about it. Ebro and Rosenberg and them were talking about it. Charlamagne was talking about it. The entire urban media was in a frenzy.

I have seen his old work all the way back to hot 97. He is not a good interviewer or personality, he thrives on hating and contraversy. Sure he had a cult following but for the most part his personality sucks to the masses

I disagree with this.

The way he would negotiate with artists to do something for spins was genius because he was showing the masses how Hot 97 gets down indirectly with favors. He did it with Keith Murray, WC but the biggest one was when he got Justine Timberlake to admit that he was sexing Britney when she was promoting that she was a virgin. Dude said 'u admit it and I'll give u such and such spins" so while the average person is focused on the controversial part...Star was sideways showing u how Hot 97 gets down with favors. I never seen anything like that on radio before.

and there was other shyt. Liek him exposing how Hot 97 was strong arming Black artists to do Summer Jam for free but then turned around and paid Eminem 300K because Em didnt need Hot97 but they wanted him so bad in 2002. It was a spit in the face to all those Black artists who did Summer Jam for free all those years. Thats why Jay Z speaks about how "They wont play my hits well I dont give a shyut so.." on 99 Problems because Jay was one of the artists they were doing that too....Notice Jay put that verse out after Em got that 300K. Star exposed all that shyt...

they aren't cancelling nothing unless like AK said he leaves and Hoe Budden ain't doing shyt but letting Diddy dig in his booty in hopes of getting in the limelight again like Everyday Struggle had him

Like AK has said what Hoe does doesn't make him shyt, and nobody cares about AK getting clowned but you super thug lames, now that AK is the supreme draw he can demand more for the bag, if Hoe was smarter he would've played the long game but his dumb ass wanted to smoke in bathrooms, keep caping though :manny:

If Ak said put me on Pull Up, Hoe Budden would kow tow to any demands he wanted, fukk outta here :russ:

Nobody cares about that shyt but you podcast watching old heads that want to hear dudes yell over each other with nonsensical bullshyt about hip-hop
Joe invited Ak to pull up but he didn’t do it
