Replay value wise it never got old for me as I always seem to do plenty of playthroughs on it

No, it's not an exact port. They made new versions of the songs and they have new voice actors. The controls felt weird to me. I think the game is worse than the original.

Breh...the replay value of games back in the day....

A game could be programmed to last 1 - 2 hours...but replay value is in the YEARS.

For some reason I always felt that shyt in my core whenever Fox let out that tribal scream as he pericioused into the abyss.

That first level tho, I could probably play that shyt blindfold today and do ok. Me and my brother used to play that level for fun just to find different ways to maximize our scores. We knew all the tricks.

You never knew about the Andross brain battle? That was the true boss of the game, my dude.

The different routes you could take to get to different planets had a young dude like when he realized it.
