Demon
Evil b*stard
That's one of the biggest misconceptions that King fell off. I just read "Everything's Eventual". Crack. After that I read "Full Dark, No Stars". More crack.
Does he have a few weak books/stories? Of course. But he's been doing this for 39 years. Dude's ratio of good:bad is 80:20 I'd say.
And at least he's still writing horror. He's rich, he could've retired. Or got on some Andre shyt like Clive Barker and tried to "branch out artistically".
Fred.
I know I actually said it, but I didnt really mean he fell off. I shoulda worded it different.
Just comparing his work from the 80's and maybe early 90's to now is kinda at the quality difference.
But Cell & 11/22/63 is King in rare form though
