Songwriting was on point. I don't know how you missed that. The singles popped off cause the group understood good song structure. They didn't just lay 3 sixteens over a cool beat and call it a day. Stankonia is a good album. I do think that it is a step down from southernplayalistic,ATLiens and Aquemini but at the same time to say its a bad album is a bad take.

Their growth on the first 3 albums is insane. From the beginning they were already really good rappers but their song making ability hit new levels with each album

Nah I don't agree. I think Stankonia was great, but I'm also a huge "Kast fan. The skit on Aquemini sums up the OP. Kast knew they were on some far out shyt and some ppl wouldn't fukk with how far they would push the boundaries of hip hop.

the beats are the wackest part of the album
