Stillmatic is one of the best produced albums of all time, get this elitist shyt out of here, just because you got more live instrumentation or an album has more diverse sounds doesn't equate to it being better produced, not in Hip Hop, this is partly why Hip Hop is diferent to a lot of genres, and your comment sounds like one of a hipster cac.

RIGHT!!!! B.O.B., So Fresh, So Clean, and Miss Jackson were EVERYWHERE. Stankonia one of them albums where if you wasn't on board by the end of Gasoline Dreams, you just weren't gonna get it. I was living overseas at the time and you couldn't go anywhere without hearing that joint.

Definitely is a mid album with classic singles. The first 3 albums are classics & then you have Stankonia with a lot of bad tracks.

actually one of the first albums i bought with my own money. It came out when i was in the fourth grade. I wouldn’t call it trash or mid, but I never really got how it became the critical darling it is now. I enjoy it, but don’t consider it on the same level as ATLiens & Aquemini. It’s close to Southerplayalistic for me

Its biggest problem is that it came after their first 3 albums. Youre bound to be let down after those joints. I think it def could do with some trimming but it’s by no means a bad album. It’s a typical 2000s album as far as skits go so I don’t mind that.

Honestly,I kinda feel breh on his take. It is my least favorite album in that run but compared to what that album was doing in the timeframe it will always be a benchmark album for a lot of people that were outside when it dropped.

Fair criticism, definitely not one of my favorite OutKast albums but it’s still pretty damn good. If it dropped last year it would be better than anything that came out.

And just it the fact it has 3 certified classic singles on it kind of give it a pass for me but there is a lot of filler and skits on it
