here's what i know about SVG:

-got his ass ran out of ORL
-got his ass ran out of DET
-got his ass ran out of NOLA
-was nicknamed the "master of panic" by shaq
-proved shaq right by making adjustments to how his team played BEFORE the series began against the 2010 boston celtics, resulting in a loss

Agree…. The game today is harder to get in than it’s ever been.

I go back and look at some of them rosters from 84-98.

And there are a lot of guys that starter who wouldn’t be starters in the NBA today…. Yet alone probably make a roster today.

Steve Kerr straight up said that he wouldn't make the NBA today. And he was a 20-25 mpg guy for one of the best teams in history just twenty years ago.

Sam Young came to the gym regular students use (Trees Hall) when I was at Pitt. He played against my team in pickup. That was the first time I really noticed the gap in talent between dudes playing pickup and D1 hoopers.

A 6 and 2 guy in the NBA was the second coming of Stephen Curry out there. Dude would not miss
Sam Young looked like he was in his 30s in college. That Pitt squad was tough

Shiiiiit I don't know what happened at those other spots but I'd DEFINITELY take him back in NOLA knowing what I know

I mean, I’ve seen guys in high school who never missed a shot in open gyms yet they weren’t gonna be good enough to play at a D1 school. I don’t think people really realize how much basketball talent there is in the world in general, and there’s only been around 5000 people who have EVER played in the NBA. It’s damn near frightening to think of how good you have to be to even get a real tryout in the league.

Facts. So many people trying to get it globally and there are like 450 job spots. The players get what they deserve.
