Women like men who don't give out compliments easily and men who are fearless. Jerks aren't afraid to say whatever comes to mind and they live by their own rules. When a woman has to work hard to get this kind of man to say "I love you" or "you look nice" she values him more because to hear those words, means so much more because she had to work hard to hear them.
-Jerks are independent
-Jerks do whatever the hell they want
-Jerks aren't afraid to say what they REALLY think and women appreciate honesty even though it may be brutal honesty
-Jerks take charge of any situation.
-When jerks see something they want, they say they're going to get it and they don't let anyone stand in their way.
This shyt isn't rocket science. Many women(specifically young women) confuse the arrogance of jerks for confidence but they're drawn to them regardless because they think they can change them. Women want a man to think only about her or put her above his friends, family, everyone. If he's ready to do that at the drop of a hat(*see any simp) then he's not boyfriend material because she didn't have to work hard to earn even a sliver of his respect and adoration.
Only way you can get around with simping is if you look like a male model and even then she'll probably cheat on your ass on the side because she doesn't respect you. You can probably be a "nice guy" and get a woman who is in her 30s and 40s. That p*ssy been stretched out by so many different people and she's had her fun so she's ready to settle down with some corny ass muthafukka so long as he got paper, a decent home, and a decent job.

....but yeah, this topic's been beaten to death. Still true for the most part. Most of the chicks that you'd WANT to bang anyway (the hot submissive ones that'll probably do more stuff)
are going to like jerks. So be jerks to them while you're young. 
There are some chicks that may not like jerks and hey....some of those chicks are actually nice. If you don't mind digging through the bushes when you're tired of having all that awesome protected-sex with the hot low self-esteem chicks, they'll be there. Hopefully.

My boyfriend is far from a jerk. He's wonderfully sweet and I wouldn't want him any other way.
