I will bet you he deadlifts/squatsare you natural? if yes you can share some wisdom.
to the threadstarter
what do you think of the stronglifts or Starting Strength routines?
Workout A
Squat 5X5
Benchpress 5X5
BB row 5X5
Workout B
Squat 5X5
Overhead press 5X5
Deadlift 1X5
three times a week so say Monday A, Wed B, Fri A, Mon B...
a lot of the focus is on Squats (you basically squat 3 times a week) but it also has some other uperbody lifts. do you think that's a good compromise? this is also considered a beginner routine.
i stopped doing deadlifts and squats when i hurt my back in a car accident. havent been able to get a good form since. chiropractor even said it would be best to stay away from those two altogether. any good alternatives that wont put so much pressure on my back.
I broke my back last year, partial paralysis and I still fukk with squat and deadlift(i can rep 305 now) To be honest, they helped me come back from being REAL
But i didnt go right to weights. I recommend you move to calisthenics for a while. fukk with planks, hindu squats, 1 legged squats. As crazy as it sounds, try and work on mastering the back bridge.
the only way to help an injury is to slowly and patiently worth through it and strengthen the area and surrounding muscles.
i've heard planks do the trick. might have to give this shyt a try. good looking out holmes.
