big bear act like cops on black men, when they decide to sink their teeth in they usually don't stop

pit bulls act like that sometimes, they do call them man's best friend

He lucky it wasn't a Grizzly. I'm tripping off all that hollering. He's only making himself more exhausted. Why don't he have a weapon? You'd think being out in nature, you'd be prepared.

Dude hollering like that đŸ» got a hold of him.

Wait, Polar Bears are the worst out of all of them?

Polar bears are the worst ones for man to cross paths with in the woods BY FAR. It’s not even close.

They are hands down the most predatory because all they eat is meat. They don’t eat vegetation like other bears, because there is no vegetation for them to eat.

Black bears are pretty much nuts and berries eaters. When you cross paths with one they’ll most likely haul ass long before you ever even knew it was there. If they attack, it’s usually due to specific circumstances such as a mother with cubs, or if you surprise one by mistake who didn’t hear you coming.

Grizzlies eat nuts and berries also, and then once a year (during the spawns) they’ll eat fish. Oh, and the occasional deer they may get lucky and catch. They, too, typically haul ass long before you even know they were there. As with Black bears, you typically have to have specific circumstances to get attacked by a Grizzly. There are many, many videos of Grizzlies who’ve become “used” to ppl(tourists) and will often just walk right on by.

But everything changes with Polar bears. They are the most predatory, most carnivorous of bears, because that is all they know. Matter of fact, they’re the ONLY bears that are full carnivores. Polar bears will not run the moment they hear/smell man coming, like the other bears. When a Polar bear hears or sees you in the distance, it hears and sees MEAT. It senses FOOD. And it will hunt track you down and eat you like you were a two-legged seal. There is no crossing paths with a Polar bear and laying down and playing dead. You will lay down, and then get killed and eaten, right there on the spot.

The climber had a competitive advantage on the side of those rocks at elevation.

As soon as he got the bear below him he kept the heat on him enabling the bear from getting back up the edge of the rocks to him.

I hope the climber found another way back down the ledge as bears are sometimes known to hang around and lay and wait on their prey.

On a flat surface this outcome would have been much different, the bear would have mauled him and likely critically injured him or worse. Hiking/climbing in the wilderness without a firearm that packs enough punch to put down larger wild animals such as a bear, bobcat, etc is very risky.

Classic White boy shyt though.
