^^^^with just these alone, Square will always be legendary. (sure Im missing one or two classics)

Xenogears unfortunately I could never get into.
Only game from the 360/ps3 era I enjoyed was Nier. Pretty underrated game. Final fantasy xiii was the worst game I ever preordered. Deus Ex was dope too I guess.

Tomb Raider shouldnt really count, Eidos is on that. Eidos needs to bring back the Legacy of Kain series I would appreciate that

Square is though. They need to go back to their roots and stop trying to give us Final Fantasies that are (bad)anime movies on rails. As the technology got better, the cutscenes kept getting longer and the games suffered as a result.

Used to worship them in middle school. They fell off HARD. The big 3 when I was a kid were squaresoft, Capcom and konami. Really all 3 have fallen off, though not as hard as square

Tomb Raider and Deus Ex are one of the best games last gen tho.

Dahell does Konami do besides Metal Gear. Castlevania gettin less games. Pro Evo is dead, Silent Hill is dead and dont bring up dem party games

Most of that is Square"Soft". There have barely been any new/ diverse "Square" ips apart from The World Ends with You and Braverly Default. Of course the technology is different but I think they were more creative before they merged.
