Here's the thing, it's not all about giving FT's to the Heat

refs can call ticky tac fouls to disrupt the flow of the game and never allow a team to get into a groove. They can even call fouls on the Heat when the Spurs are on offense which can disrupt the Spurs offense.

To win, the Spurs will have to make an etremely high % of shots like they did game 3

I always laugh when people just look at the end of game foul totals and act like that says if the game was officiated good or not. It's the momentum stopping calls that are more dangerous than anything. When one team starts getting in a rhythm or some momentum going and they get a couple of bad calls seems to be the real killers.

BTW anyone hate when a game starts super physical with no calls because you KNOW the last five minutes will be ticky tack touch foul bullshyt?

That's how last game felt. They were letting both teams play with a lot of contact and then for like a minute or two stretch they started calling every little touch a foul again. Then after that went back to letting them play.

I dont think you can say that when the Heat won a championship because of officiating-2006.

Not an excuse but it matters...Some of the incredible records officials have with certain teams warrants discussion.

That being said i would have picked Heat tonight anyway.

Also don't forget that the heat shot the least amount of free throws in a 7 game series and finals last year. Not only that the heat shot the fewest free throws of any NBA champion last year in entire playoffs.
And they are the only team to no once shoot more free throws than their opponent in the finals in a 7 game series.

So in other words screw 2006. Sometimes you got to out play the refs. The heat did that last year while dirk and his bigot owner still crying about 2006.

They can't just overtly call a bunch of BS calls, sometimes they do, but generally the refs can take control by altering the tempo/momentum.

I bet alot of the basic stuff the Spurs do will become fouls tonight. They wont let this game get out of hand.
