lol brah, well to me, it's a pretty big transformation. I mean 20 pounds in 4 months. There is only so much I can eat atm.

in all my time cutting

the one thing ive come to realize is that weight isnt as big of a deal as it seems

IE my change from 220-180 is noticeable but not dramatic, yet going from 180 to 155 is dramatic 40>25 but the body is a strange thing :manny:

If you really want to make it work, track your body parts with measuring tape and take weekly pics at the same time(preferably in the morning when you wake up)

your weight can vary wildly, so dont be too concerned about that. If you are eating good and lifting regularly as i know you do, the muscle will grow. The key is eating(and good sleep :flabbynsick: )

Yea I don't get enough sleep, but the whole process of building muscle takes time, I'm 3-4 months in, I've made it into a routine tho and am read to take it to 5-6 months and more. Time/patience and consistency is all that's needed.

i woulda much rather seen those, then. i agree that only comparable poses are needed.

i have no idea who spurm duncan is so i dont know his background, or how serious he is about lifting...but it sounds like you can vouch for him. i just wouldnt want to see this forum turn into a bunch of dudes taking myspace angle pics of their stomachs under the guise of being a "before and after" thread.

i'll create a thread soon of my "before and after" when i first started lifting as a better reference for others.

ima be real, this is his thread :beli:

for sure.

spur...good shyt sticking with a workout plan and pushing thru to put on 20lbs clean. looking at the before and after it actually appears as if you lowered your body fat percentage. if you need advice on putting on another lean 20lbs feel free to hit me up. :cheers:

im glad you saw the light

the basic idea is build strength >>> use newly acquired 1RM to have higher hypertrophy numbers >>> new growth >>> strength >>> hypertrophy....and so on

REMEMBER the biggest thing is your muscles grow at rest as opposed to inside the gym

you work on getting good solid sleep it will improve everything, it is only when you are asleep that your body releases growth hormone, so get your 7-8 hours!
