Question though for lebron opting out. Couldnt he still do a sign and trade but for 3 years and have the bulk of the dough on the back end to not cripple the squad he really wants to go to?? Like say he takes 24 mil the 1st year to complete it for 1 or 2 players and a pick instead of clearing out a squads whole bench??

I doubt bron would do another multi-year deal. He loses too much leverage if a team has him locked up. He definitely would’ve left Cleveland last off season is he didn’t sign a 2+1.
