Atlanta would have a lot of money tied up at their center spot if they did that

Plumlee makes 12 for 3 yeara
Dedmon opted in at 6
Adding Biyombo's 16 for 2 years would be over kill

I wasnt sure about the Atlanta personnel. The original proposition was Vucci for Dennis, so I thought they might have wanted/needed a big.

We do not need a big. We have three centers on the roster already in Moose, Dedmon and Plumlee. We dont need another. Especially bad contract ones who don't fit. We just dont have the need. Like I said, Dennis could be moved next year but this year, we actually need him. We need two legit PGs.

Hill isn’t even a bad asset he has a 19 million dollar expiring contract. So if you want cap space next year you trade another bad player for him. Hence Gallo

Hill’s contract isn’t fully guaranteed as well.

He can be bought out or used to take on additional salary to make a trade work.
