I thought the same thing about Malone easily their worse fukk up since the Webber days was getting rid of him

Malone was the first coach to get Demarcus Cousins to buy in........It was one of the best stretches in Cousins' career until he got hurt, then they jumped the gun and fired Malone.

He had that whole trash team locked in even had Rudy involved. Injuries took that squad from a fringe playoff team too nothing and that messy ownership canned him. He's a great young coach

I think no matter what happens he'll be able to get more than half a mil on a shoe deal. Recouping that 80 mil is a tall task tho.

With no other real 4 on the roster he'll have a chance to get plenty of mins and show & prove hes a quality rotational big. Hope he makes good use of his opportunity

He isn’t much of an Xs & Os guy, makes some bad lineup decisions and takes too long to correct them, but players love him and he has relationships with, or at least respect from, most of the stars in the league.
Most nuggets fans want him fired, but unless there’s a clear upgrade out there (there usually isn’t) I’m good with him sticking around. Keeps the players happy and increases the chances of landing a star.
