Funny how that came out right after the Sixers trade lol. I think it's a leak from Kawhi's camp.

I don't think that was a leak at all. I think Shams is injecting his own opinion. He didn't say "Kawhi Leonard believes..." or "the people around him", "his camp", etc

Besides, the Clippers don't have anything attractive to trade that most other teams couldn't beat. Kawhi would be playing with straight nobodies and doesn't move the needle as far as recruiting talent (aka has no friends in the league). No chance he would re-sign.
