With the framily plan there is no contract so you do not get discount on phone, they do however give the option for easy
pay which is 24-monthly payments(for the galaxy s5 it is $27.05) zero down if you qualify.

Assuming over 7 lines which is our goal not including insurance, taxes and fees in the 2 years...

When purchasing a new phone at full price(s5 $649)= $1729.20 ($72.05/monthly)

Even at paying for phone full price throughout the same 2 year span you save almost $400 and you dont have to pay upfront with Framily plan.
Also with the framily plan you can get yearly upgrade which means you can get a new phone and just continue to pay that same $27.05.
To ease the bill you could also pay the $200 that you would have to drop to purchase the new phone up front in a 2yr agreement
so the bill would be $63.72.

I need the answer to this question, per the flyer above the extra $20 covers unlimited data plus your annual upgrade. At $45 that is a steal if you don't also have to pay a monthly fee for a phone.

might be down if i don't have to do this. or any new hidden fees. got the 79 unlimited joint.....

if you choose the $20 option (unlimited data and annual upgrade) you get an upgrade once a year. but since there are no more discounts on the phones, you get the phone financed over a 24 month period like the other carriers. So $600 phone is $25/month added onto the bill monthly. BUT the good thing is that once you upgrade after that one year, if you choose to do so, the remaining balance is waived for the original phone and you start paying the monthly financing for the new phone.

Example:

Framily plan with 7-10 people.

line access= $25/month
unlimited data/ annual upgrade= $20/month
new phone @$600 over 24 months= $25/month

Total bill= $70/ month plus taxes and fees

after paying on the phone for 12 months you can upgrade. still $300 left on the balance but sprint waives it. no other carrier is offering that right now.

the cycle of that continues until you want to leave sprint ( then the remaining balance is due if there is any) or if you just happen to not use the yearly upgrade and want your bill to drop $25/ month after financing is complete.


Also, if you have a company discount, it only applies to THE DATA PORTION OF THE BILL. so in the above case, just the $20/month for unlimited.

not if you do it online. i tried to see whats up with getting a contract and saving some dough for an upgrade, just as i always done before, and the store reps told me they dont do contracts no more and they only do that stupid payment plan bullshyt

oi went to sprint.com ... copped my s5 with a 2 years contract and got $200 off and a $50 prepaid debit card sent to me in the mail

the only difference is that you get the ability to get a new phone every year

the phone with the discount is 200

then you paying call it 70 per month for ya plan anyway
