Not exactly stolen valor but I also hate guys that after you tell them you served , always come up with some lame story about how they were gonna serve but never did. I know a guy who said he wanted to be a marine but they wouldn't let him because he couldn't resist eating them pink marine cookies that they put in the urinals lol

Mane, I saw one video of this dude wearing a 82nd Airborne, Coast guard, NASA badge, and a 'blue' Air force beret.:mjlol:
A blue AF beret? :snoop: .....Only the cadets at the Air Force academy wear those.

Edit: Actually I don't think they wear em anymore. Security Forces wears a blue beret but you can easily mistake it as being black. I can't remember but I think civil air patrol wears a blue beret:mjlol:

I had a Marine friend get accused of it once by some old cac because he was sporting his Eagle Globe and Anchor pin on his jacket. Dude was ready to kill him for that! :russ:
They used to kill nikkas for wearing attire even tho they actually served. They still disrespect black veterans to this day.

I think because I never saw combat, too, it might be a reason I do not care as much either.
All my nikkas from Memphis joined the Marines, all did tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, all but 1 saw combat (he was a mechanic). My boy is a Gunnery Sgt and is retiring this year if he hasnt already. None of them give a fukk about stolen valor. They know they, like everyone else, joined because they didnt have any real earning potential or options available to them when they graduated. Were or wouldve been working retail or other dead end jobs. So they enlisted. All that "honor" and "my country" "9/11" shyt is fugazi to try and erase the real reason these people joined. Because it was the best they could do at the time. A real nikka will keep it a buck. "I needed somebody to pay for school." or "I aint have shyt going on so fukk it. Might go to some cool places"

Thats it. Combat doesnt matter cause they all saw it and still dont care. Its a personality thing. If you have no strong pride or sense of self, youll be the type whos entire identity is a job you had or being in the service.
