All-Time:
1. MJ
2. Kobe
3. West
4. Wade
5. Hondo
6. Drexler
7. Allen
8. Iverson
9. Miller
10. Gervin
I got MJ, Kobe, West, Wade and Hondo based on being huge winners.
MJ was always the GUY and Kobe was top dog on 3 WCF winners as well as the 1-B/#2 option on 4 others.
West was the top guy on great Lakers teams that had trouble with the Celtics and Wade was also a top guy on a Championship team.
Hondo was a flatout winner but never the GUY on his teams.
I put Allen and Miller on the all-time list but never thought they were top shooting guards or big winners during their prime. AI was the GUY and won an MVP on mediocre teams that didn't win much. Gervin was probably the best offensive guard in the league during his time for a long time, but never won much.
McGrady and Earl were beasts in their prime but neither had long primes, although Monroe became an important part of championship teams.
Drexler feels right in the middle of both lists as his prime was longer and more well-rounded than most as the bottom half but not as hot as the top half. But he won late and a little early as both a sidekick and 1st option.
