you watch RAW? he's cheered heavily by most in the arena, but its clashes with mark boos.

mark boos or smark boos? i figured it was the marks that were cheering for him.

either way i have yet to witness him truly blow the roof off the building yet. he does not get the kind of reactions you would expect from a marquee player, a champion, or a main eventer.

maybe you could post some videos where he got a crazy pop?

He was always over but the last time he got a huge pop was when he returned at TLC. That happened right before the word got out that he was Vince's new Golden Boy and neckbeards decided to turn on him.

did the fans turn on roman or did the WWE turn roman on the fans.

when fans got behind roman it was because he was the silent and deadly enforcer, the muscle in the shield. he was cool to them. they might have never gotten behind him if he were introduced as the cena-lite spokesperson they make him out to be currently.

the fact remains that there was no indication at all that roman was next in line. the fans never chose him.

Seriously this. Pretty much the title was treated like Cena had it anyway. Would've made the attempted Brock burial more legit. Year would've played out a lot differently with Punk going heel than it did, as much as I hate Cena hogging the title.

Roman Reigns reminds me a lot of early Rock at the moment (just need to see if he can grow some of the charisma which is majorly lacking)... Rocky debuted on an instant push, but the crowd booed him out of arena after arena. It was pretty fukking vicious at times. It was really the face run up to the tournament Survivor Series where he got the strap and turned Corporate that made him the biggest star in the business at the time.

That Corporate Rock run.

Only got to see pieces on Youtube. Would the network carry that run completely? That's pretty much all I want to see from AE.

I'd venture to say him getting as much love as he did was a product of him being in the Shield (which was a great change of pace) and being the complete opposite of the status quo (silent, badass, etc.). They did what they always do and completely took away everything that made him likable.

cena is a legit main eventer and a legit champion. that match wasn't big enough for mania but you could still out cena on the marquee.

rollins and reigns are not marquee players.

I agree but Reigns and Rollins are as marquee as you can get in current wwe. They were handed everything and they still don't feel like stars.. both were in the main event of wrestlemania, reigns won the rumble and seth won the money in the bank.
