I agree they aren't enough but they're protected The Shield members to the fullest. From a storyline prospective, they will always be linked together even 10 years from now. Kane and Big Show are doing what they should at this point and that's putting people over on their way out. I doubt either of them will be there in 5 years.

As Rocky Maivia? I remember him being booed out of the Rosemont Horizon at WM13 along with chants of Die Rocky Die. I couldn't understand why that was the case (maybe it was a bit ofconsidering it was Chicago). It wasn't until he became the cocky a$$hole with the Nation that he finally got over.
Roman Reigns reminds me a lot of early Rock at the moment (just need to see if he can grow some of the charisma which is majorly lacking)... Rocky debuted on an instant push, but the crowd booed him out of arena after arena. It was pretty fukking vicious at times. It was really the face run up to the tournament Survivor Series where he got the strap and turned Corporate that made him the biggest star in the business at the time.
